Kingwood Park High School issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.
Humble ISD is adjusting its high school grading procedures for the fall 2020 semester due to the impact of COVID-19 and students’ varying circumstances and learning environments.
Please note:
- Monday, 12/14 and Tuesday, 12/15 are regular 7 period school days and students are expected to attend school.
- Summative assessments for students will open in Schoology on Wednesday, 12/16, at 12:00 am and close on Friday, 12/18 at 3:00 pm.
- Face to Face students have the option to take the summative assessments at home or on campus. If a student chooses to come to campus, then they will be expected to take the assessment and follow the daily bell schedule.
- We strongly encourage students to follow the suggested schedule regarding which assessments to take each day.
- All assessments will close at 3:00 pm on Friday, 12/18. Summative tests are designed to take approximately 50 minutes. Students last opportunity to log in and take the test on Friday, 12/18 is 2:00 pm to allow maximum time for the student to take the test. A zero will be recorded for any assessment not completed prior to the end of the designated testing window.
- For attendance purposes, students must access all Schoology courses through My Humble everyday.
