Memorial Hermann issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.
The Greater Houston area is experiencing flash flooding conditions. The safety of our patients, employees, physicians and visitors remains our top priority. All hospitals, Emergency Centers and Convenient Care Centers remain open and operational. We encourage all visitors to monitor the weather and roadway conditions before traveling. Do not attempt to travel if it is unsafe to do so. For those with a health concern who are unable to travel, we encourage you to call Memorial Hermann’s 24/7 Nurse Health Line at 713-338-7979 or 1-855-577-7979. This free triage line is answered by specially trained registered nurses who can answer your health questions and direct you to area care facilities. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and communicate updates as needed. Stay safe, Houston.
