In the week ending Mar. 21, one gas station in Walker County sold midgrade gas at the lowest reported price of $3.49 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The average reported price of midgrade gas across the county was $3.88 per gallon.

GasBuddy reports show that midgrade gas was available at 10 of the 57 reported gas stations in Walker County.

Across Texas, the average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas rose to $3.87, compared to the week before.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
