Congressman Morgan Luttrell has been sworn into the 119th Congress, marking the beginning of his second term in the U.S. House of Representatives. Representing Texas' 8th Congressional District, Luttrell expressed his commitment to continue addressing key issues for Texans.

“It is honor and privilege to once again take the oath of office and serve the people of Texas’ 8th Congressional District in Congress,” said Congressman Luttrell. He emphasized his focus over the past two years on "securing our border, standing up for our veterans, and defending our constitutional freedoms." Luttrell added, "But there’s still work to be done, and I’m not here to sit on the sidelines. I’ll never stop working to protect the values that make Texas and our nation exceptional."

In this term, Congressman Luttrell will participate in several committees. He will serve on the House Armed Services Committee, House Veterans Affairs Committee, and Committee on Homeland Security. Furthermore, he will hold the position of Chairman of Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs Subcommittee within the House Veterans Affairs Committee.
