North Houston honey providers have seen more customers buying their product in bulk despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kelly Brantley, co-owner of BZ Honey with her husband Matt, says business has changed in the last few months.

“Sales have been different,” Brantly said to Community Impact Newspaper. “Not having face-to-face has had an impact.”

BZ Honey is operating out of Thirsty Bee Meadery, the Brantley's other business. Orders can be placed online at bzhoney.com and are available for shipping or Saturday pickup from Thirsty Bee Meadery,

BZ Honey is committed to maintaining its hives naturally in order to deliver the best possible honey. Its hives are situated in suburban Houston to provide local honey. Each farmers market their honey is sold at is close enough to BZ Honey's hives for the bees to fly to market.

Thirsty Bee Meadery is Tomball's original meadery, making mead from local honey.
