North Houston District issued the following announcement on Feb 26.
As part of the #NorthHouston2020 developments, today, the North Houston District held its final public meeting for the Livable Centers Study! The study concentrates specifically on improvements to the district’s northeast quadrant – Greenspoint.
Attendees were encouraged to weigh in on projects that would enhance connectivity, mobility, transportation and economic development in the area. Some of the popular developments include: building a downtown-Greenspoint-airport bus rapid transit with new transit center and reconstruction of Greens Rd., redevelopment of the mall, implementation of a program that helps residents who undergo buyouts transition to more resilient housing options and completing the bayou greenways.
