Pete Sessions, who has represented Texas’s 17th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently shared updates on his activities and viewpoints through several social media posts. Sessions, born in Waco, Texas in 1955 and a graduate of Southwestern University, continues to be active both locally and nationally.

On July 11, 2025, Sessions encouraged followers to watch his appearance on Fox News by posting “TUNE IN NOW Catch me this morning on @foxandfriends @FoxNews”.

Later that day, Sessions reported from Kerr County, Texas. He stated “Today, I am in Kerr County to survey the damage and recovery efforts. As Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations, I have been closely engaged in federal disaster response efforts across the country. Now, that same need has emerged in Texas. I am working to ensure” (July 11, 2025).

On July 14, 2025, Sessions discussed ongoing congressional investigations during an interview with Newsmax. He posted “Spoke to @LidiaNews @NEWSMAX on Saturday about why @GOPoversight’s investigation needs to keep moving forward. The American people deserve the truth.”

Pete Sessions succeeded Bill Flores as representative for Texas’s 17th district in 2021 and currently resides in Waco.
