Pete Sessions, a U.S. Congressman, shared several messages on social media in mid-December 2025 addressing topics of national service, religious observance, and recent tragedies.

On December 14, 2025, Sessions expressed condolences for military personnel, stating: “My thoughts and prayers are with the families of our fallen service members and those who are wounded. Please join my family and I in prayer. https://t.co/ckm0ZO1czY”.

Later that day, he recognized the anniversary of the National Guard’s founding: “Today marks 389 years of proud service by the National Guard. For generations, Guardsmen and women have been there for their neighbors in times of crisis at home and have answered the call to serve our country around the world. We owe them our sincere thanks for their bravery, https://t.co/pPnYXGe4cd”.

On December 15, Sessions extended wishes for Hanukkah while acknowledging current challenges faced by Jewish communities: “Wishing all those celebrating a meaningful Hanukkah. As we light the first candle, this season of light carries added weight as we mourn the victims of antisemitic terror and reaffirm Hanukkah’s message that light overcomes darkness. May this season bring peace and unity. Chag https://t.co/muf6pBYA0n”.

Pete Sessions has maintained his seat through multiple election cycles. In 2024, he won re-election against Mark Lorenzen with 66.3% of the vote; in 2022, he defeated Mary Jo Woods with 66.5%; and in 2020, he prevailed over Rick Kennedy with 55.9%.
