Pete Sessions, U.S. Representative, has recently addressed issues of national security and housing policy in a series of posts on his social media account.

On December 3, 2025, Sessions wrote, “Our national security depends on our ability to innovate faster and more effectively than our adversaries. I am proud to co-lead the Independence Investment Fund Act with @RepHoulahan, which strengthens America’s strategic position by directing targeted investments into”.

Later that day, he commented on housing policy discussions in Congress: “Today in @FinancialCmte, I discussed meaningful ways we can reduce government roadblocks and expand opportunities to build new housing across America. The role of government should be to support the American dream of homeownership- not stand in the way.”

On December 4, 2025, Sessions stated his party’s stance: “House Republicans stand united with President Trump in advancing an America First Agenda that makes the dream of homeownership more attainable, more sustainable, and more within reach for families across our country.”

Sessions has a history of electoral success. In 2024, he won re-election against Mark Lorenzen with over 66% of the vote. He also secured victories in both the 2022 and 2020 general elections by significant margins.
