Pete Sessions, U.S. Representative from Texas, has recently shared updates on housing policy, historical remembrance, and agricultural support through a series of posts on his social media account.

On December 5, 2025, Sessions highlighted the efforts of House Republicans in addressing homeownership: “House Republicans under the leadership of Chairman @RepFrenchHill on the @FinancialCmte have a plan to make the American Dream of owning a home a reality. Check out my published Op-Ed with @MatthewFoldi of the @DC_Reporter.”

Two days later, on December 7, 2025, Sessions marked Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day by referencing President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s famous words and honoring those who served: “Today, we remember the ‘date which will live in infamy.’ Those words marked the beginning of a new chapter in American history, a chapter defined by resilience, unity, and sacrifice. The heroes who emerged that day, including Doris Miller from my hometown of Waco, TX, fought in”.

On December 8, 2025, he commented on recent federal assistance for agriculture: “I applaud President Trump for his new $12 billion investment to support American farmers through one-time bridge payments. This Farmer Bridge Assistance Program delivers real relief while we work to rebuild the farm economy with fair trade, lower costs, reliable financing…”

Sessions has held his congressional seat since at least 2020 and has consistently secured reelection victories. In 2024 he defeated Mark Lorenzen with over 66% of the vote; similar margins were seen in his wins against Mary Jo Woods in 2022 and Rick Kennedy in 2020.
