Pete Sessions, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 17th district since 2021, has recently shared his views and achievements through a series of tweets. Born in Waco, Texas, in 1955, Sessions has been an active political figure advocating for fiscal discipline and international security.

On June 12, 2025, Pete Sessions expressed his satisfaction with the passage of HR 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025. In his tweet, he stated: “Proud that HR 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, of which I am a co-sponsor, has just passed the House, delivering $9.4 billion in cuts to restore fiscal discipline to Washington. I remain committed to protecting the taxpayer and advocating for common sense.”

The following day on June 13, Sessions reiterated his support for Israel through another tweet. He noted: “Today, and as I always have, I stand in support of Israel. Targeting Iran’s nuclear program is a necessary show of strength against a dangerous regime that sponsors terrorism. Ultimately, this defends global security and advances peace through strength by removing their ability.”

On June 14th during Flag Day celebrations, Pete Sessions paid tribute to American symbols and military history in a tweet stating: “This Flag Day we honor the adoption of the stars and stripes and proudly celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States Army. For two and a half centuries, the world’s finest fighting force has defended this beautiful flag and the freedoms it represents. God bless America.”

Pete Sessions holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern University obtained in 1978.
