On Friday, May 16, former Lake Creek High School standout Avery Pinz’s current collegiate team the St. Thomas Celts won 5-2 against the Belhaven Blazers in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Jason Bell Park at Taylor Field at 4 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Belhaven Blazers in the tournament.

The St. Thomas Celts’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Jason Bell Park at Taylor Field.
